Nunnelly completed this14,450 sq. ft. project under a Design-Build contract for EISD. This band hall facility accommodates approximately 140 students with two large rehearsal halls, multiple large and small ensemble practice rooms, nine Wenger Sound Isolation Rooms, and also included storage for instruments, music, guard, uniform, and band boosters. The facility also provided a state-of-the-art recording studio room. Our construction team was able to return $183,575 in savings to the owner.
Our design-build team delivered the signed and sealed documents 40 working days ahead of the original schedule. The project consisted of a suspended slab-on-piers with mixed steel and CMU structure clad with architectural split-face veneer and metal wall panels. The project also included site drainage and parking improvements.
